2017 REGION 1 CHAMPIONSHIPS
2ND LEVEL OPEN CHAMPION AND 2ND LEVEL FREESTYLE CHAMPION
Region 1 Championships was an amazing weekend, Dalwhinney came completely ready for the show! Our 2nd Level Freestyle scored a 79.5% in our warm up class, and in the Championship class with our two judges we had a combined score of 76%, winning the class.
Our 2nd Level Open Championship had some heavy rain before we went into the arena, and DW was excellent riding through the sloppy footing and putting in a very clean test, earning us a 71.8% and another champion placing!! We even scored some 9s and a 10 with one of the judges!
US DRESSAGE FINALS
2017 2nd Level Open Musical Freestyle Champions
Dalwhinney and Hailey Guard finished the US Dressage Finals holding the highest freestyle score for all levels, and for both Open and AA divisions!! Their 2nd Level musical freestyle was a winning ride with a 74.55%
Sunday they finished at the US Dressage Finals with their Second Level Open Championship, scoring a 68.2% and placing 6th in a competitive class.
The Kentucky Horse Park was a beautiful show venue, and Hailey and DW hope to return again to compete at the Finals in the future as well.
